Dear Player/Parent/Coach

I am pleased to attach an invite for you/your child/your player to attend the Eastern Region U13 Assessment day on Saturday 4th July 2010. The day is a chance for myself as the regional coach to try and identify future players to join the Regional Squad, it will be a mix of training and match play.

There are various new initiatives being set up around the region which can cater for various age groups, playing standards etc so if you are interested in coming along please contact me. Or if you know of anyone else who may have the potential to come along to this day then please pass this email onto them.

Players who have been attending the Regional U14 Squad 2009/2010 do not need to attend this day.

Regards,

Natalie

The North Herts Junior Tournament on Monday evening was a great success with 40 players from the local

area entering.

Joe Shaughnessy of Bedwell won the U12 event beating Ethan Walsh, nearly 4 years his junior, in

the Under 12 event.

The Under 15 and 18 events were both won by Luke Walsh in two close finals.

Issac Beevor took him to 5 legs in the U15 but Luke won 11-7 in the 5th leg.

Tom Baines beat his brother Charlie in the semi-final only to loose out in the

final of the U18 to Luke 11-5,5-11,11-13,6-11.

Natasha continued the Walsh success in the girls U18 against Pooja Sharma.

winning the event 11-8,7-11,5-11,10-12.

Thank you to all who helped organize especially Val and Alex Murdoch, David Kells

and all volunteers on the night with umpiring etc.

The biggest thank you must go out to all the players who hopefully enjoyed their

evening and will continue to play and enjoy the game.
